Monthly Archives: December 2013
***EDITED: 1/4/14 I have sent the password information to everyone from the list of people who requested to continue following. If you do not have yours, email me at the address below.***
Hi everyone! I hope y’all had a Merry Christmas! I look forward to being able to type out and journal this triplet journey very soon. I have so much “backlog” to share. This pregnancy is definitely zapping my energy more than I though it would, so Rhea and I found a better and less time consuming solution to making the blog private than me typing in each of the 300+ email address and sending an invite.
We are going to password protect the entire site. That way when you go to our website, you just type in the password and you have access to the site. Simple. Easy.
I even have one more easy way to follow us, once you are a follower!
We will change the password 2-3x times a year for security. We just ask that you please keep the password private and not share. We want to keep the blog up and going, but our security is more important.
I will leave this post up until Jan 6.
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org for the password. You may also send me a FB message and I can give it to you that way. Let me know how we “know” you. If you do not receive your password in 24hrs, email again, but I have helpers on this and you should have a reply, no problem.
January 7th is our BIG ultrasound to confirm the genders, get more pics and video, measurements, etc. It will be a 2.5 hour appt and I look forward to sharing it all!
Hi everyone. I have a long list of people who would like to follow our journey and I am happy to add everyone. I have to type in all the names and addresses one by one, so it will take time. If for some reason you do not get an invite, no worries. When you go to our blog, you will see a window to sign into your WP account and then it will have a button you can click that says “request access”. That will send me a request with your name and email address. I will be doing all of this over the Christmas break on the laptop on the couch.
This pregnancy is already taking a toll and I need to rest more than I have. Once the blog is private, I will feel more comfortable sharing details of the day to day life here with the pregnancy and the family.
Our regular OB appt went well this week. All 3 babies had good strong heartbeats. The doctor was pleased with my progress and the babies’ as well. I have gained 20+ pounds so far and am measuring 21 weeks. This pregnancy is unlike any other. It is completely different in every way! I am starting to feel the babies move here and there. With one week until Christmas, I still have some shopping to do. That is so unlike me, but I can only get so much done in a day it seems! We meet with our MFM in January and that will be our 2.5-3hr ultrasound. We should get lots of great pics and video then!
I am still here! The process to transfer the blog to a new server was quite an ordeal indeed! It will be a bit before I can spruce things up, add photos, and send invites for the private blog, so for now the blog will remain open to all. I will post when invites have been sent so you can let me know if you haven’t received one. In the meantime, how about an update?
I had my 11.5 week check up with the MFM and the babies look terrific! Baby C had caught all the way up to Baby A & B and is now measuring one day behind A&B! The doctor feels like all is well and I do not go in again to se her until after the new year.
I saw my OB on week 12 and got to see the babies once again and they were all squirming and kicking. My OB took me off Zofran since it was not working at all and started me on Phenegran. It makes me sleepy all day long, but it really helps with the nausea. I am still pretty nauseous 24/7, but I am only throwing up once a day or so. She told me that the nausea should start to ease up in a few weeks.
A triplet pregnancy is so different than any of my other pregnancies. I truly look as if I am 5m pregnant! twice this past week I was asked,, “When will you get to hold your baby?” When I say, “May”, the people’s faces flush red with embarrassment until I can tell them that we are expecting triplets. 🙂
I will leave you with the latest pics of our little ones.
